BBQ Mushroom Poppers


Ingredients:

Method:

  • Place mushrooms in a bowl and drizzle with oil.

  • Add the salt, pepper & sugar letting it sit for 10 mins (you will see some of the moisture come out and this will help the BBQ Rub stick).

  • Add enough of The Aussie Smoker Signature BBQ Rub so all the shrooms are covered.

  • In a hot and dry fry pan, add the shrooms and keep 'shoozing' around.

  • At the point the water starts coming out turn off the heat & keep moving the pan (this will prevent the shrooms from becoming soggy & the aim is to have a little bite).

  • Serve hot, add some leaves for colour & enjoy.

  • Top Tip! Dip in some mayo or add a squirt of lemon for an extra zing.
